Privacy notice

This notice explains what happens to the personal data you give us through this website, as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requires.

Who is responsible

The controller of your personal data is Lajos Galambos. You can reach us at info@galamboscapital.com.

What we collect

When you use the enquiry form: your name and email address and, for a viewing request, your telephone number (optional), the property you are interested in and your message. We also record the page and language you sent the form from.

Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs of every visit (IP address, browser type, time and page requested) to run and protect the site. The site sets no cookies and uses no advertising trackers.

We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics: anonymous, aggregated statistics such as the page viewed, the referring site, the country, and the browser and device type, collected without cookies and without storing anything on your device. Vercel does not store your IP address, and the short-lived identifier it derives from your request to count unique visitors is discarded within 24 hours.

Why, and on what legal basis

We use your details only to send the brochure, answer your enquiry and arrange a viewing. These are steps you ask us to take before any sale (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). We also keep a record of our correspondence, which is in our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).

Technical logs serve the security and operation of the site, and the anonymous visit statistics show us how it is used (both Article 6(1)(f)). We do not sell your data, add it to marketing lists, or make automated decisions about you.

Who receives it

Your enquiry reaches us by email. These service providers process it on our behalf: Vercel Inc. (website hosting and visit statistics), Resend (email delivery, through Amazon Web Services in Ireland) and Google (our email mailbox).

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Those transfers rely on the safeguards the GDPR provides, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry for as long as we need it to deal with your request and any discussions that follow, and delete it no later than two years after our last contact, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. The hosting provider deletes its technical logs automatically after a short period.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to its use, or receive it in a portable format. Write to info@galamboscapital.com.

You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Hungary, the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH), Falk Miksa utca 9–11, 1055 Budapest, www.naih.hu; or the authority in the EU country where you live or work.

We need your name and email address to reply; everything else is optional. You can also write to us directly by email instead of using the form.
